Program Trainers
Linda Andrews, PhD
University of South Florida
Linda Andrews, PhD, has spent over 30 years in both private and public sectors
helping people work together effectively. Her experience includes University
teaching, team facilitation, and long-term organizational development. Through
the Division of Organization Development and Training at USF, Linda specializes
in leadership development, strategic planning, change management, and presentation
skills. In addition Linda teaches for the USF College of Business and the College
of Public Health.

Jennifer Sterling
Jennifer Sterling serves as the director of programs for the Mayor's
Beautification Program in Tampa a private non-profit organization. She oversees a variety
of community improvement initiatives related to parks, open spaces and the
environment. Previously, Jennifer was an extension educator for the Oklahoma
State University Extension Service in Tulsa, her home town. A graduate of
the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!), she also received a Master of
Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University in 1998.
Jennifer has two daughters, ages 26 and 13, and a grandson. She is also a
published poet.
Margie West
Organization Development Consultant
Margie West is an organizational consultant specializing in team and leadership
development. With ten years experience consulting with organizations in the
corporate, nonprofit, and education arenas, Margie has developed expertise
in the design and facilitation of innovative experiential learning processes.
Margie earned a M.Ed. in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State
University in 1994 and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Communication
at the University of South Florida.
As a performance consultant at Fidelity Investments, Margie helped to
analyze performance needs, develop learning initiatives that increase individual
and organizational effectiveness, and develop systems level support for
lasting positive change. She has facilitated team, leadership, and communication
skill development programs throughout the United States for clients such
as: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna Insurance, General Motors, Western Michigan
University, Boehringer-Ingleheim, Blyth Corporation and Bank Of America.
Margie has taught at both the community college and university level,
and recently served as an instructor for Seamester, a semester-at-sea program
providing college courses and an intensive personal development experience
for students across the country. Through this program, she spent three
months onboard an 88 ft schooner sailing through the Eastern Caribbean,
teaching college courses in Interpersonal Communication and Student Leadership
Development.
